Rick is a qualified Osteopath, specialising in persistent pain management and human performance. He has been passionately involved in the industry for over 30 years with a background in personal training, strength and conditioning, osteopathic medicine (BSc), exercise & sports rehabilitation (MSc), and movement & biomechanics.
Rick studied at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine to gain his Bachelor of Science in Osteopathic medicine and then went on to complete a Masters of Science Degree in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation at St Mary’s University Twickenham.
In addition to this, he achieved a Fellowship in Biomechanics and continues to study and research the ever-changing discoveries in pain science.
Back in England Rick owned his own successful commercial gyms and opened two osteopathic and sports rehabilitation clinics in central London.
After studying in the U.S. and working in Hong Kong, Rick now calls Sydney home and resides in Bondi with his family, his partner CC and their 5-year-old daughter.
Rick’s Movement Philosophy offers a unique approach to therapeutic intervention in all patient presentations.
Utilising current evidence-based & scientific research, osteopathic treatment, rehabilitation, movement & training, are designed to take the patient on a liberating journey from a pain state to realising their full physical potential.
